Open the app and tap the "Start Fast" button on the Timer screen. The timer will begin tracking your fast using your active schedule. You can monitor your progress through the metabolic stage ring.

Yes! Go to the Schedules tab and tap "Create Custom Schedule." You can set any fasting duration and eating window that works for you. Your custom schedule will appear alongside the built-in options.

Abstia tracks 8 biological stages of fasting: Absorptive (0-2h), Post-Absorptive (2-4h), Insulin Dropping (4-8h), Fat Burning (8-12h), Ketosis Onset (12-18h), Ketosis (18-24h), Autophagy (24-48h), and Deep Cellular Repair (48h+). These are based on general metabolic research and help you understand what's happening in your body.

The fasting coach analyzes your patterns — including streaks, mood trends, hunger types, and completion rates — to provide personalized tips. It recognizes when you're struggling or thriving and offers relevant advice. Tips are spaced out so they don't overwhelm you.

Yes. Abstia stores your data locally on your device using SQLite. When you're back online, your data syncs automatically. You can start, track, and complete fasts without an internet connection.

Go to Profile > Appearance and choose System, Light, or Dark. System mode follows your device's display settings automatically.

Yes. Contact us at support@abstia.com and we will delete your account and all associated data within 30 days. We're working on adding in-app account deletion in a future update.
